Working principle
The drum dryer is a rotary continuous drying equipment with internal heating and conduction. A thick material film is adhered to the rotating drum through its lower material trough, and the heat is transferred to the inner wall of the drum through the pipe, and then to the outer wall of the drum, and then to the material film, so that the moisture in the material film can be evaporated and dehumidified, and the material containing moisture can be dried. The dried material is scraped off the drum by the scraper installed on the surface of the drum, and then to the screw conveyor placed under the scraper. The dry material is concentrated and packaged by the screw conveyor.
Performance characteristics
High thermal efficiency. Because the heat transfer mechanism of the drum dryer is heat transfer, the heat transfer direction is consistent throughout the operation cycle. Except for the heat dissipation and heat radiation loss of the cover, all the rest of the heat is used for the evaporation of the moisture content of the drum material film, and the thermal efficiency can reach 70% - 80%.
Large operating flexibility and wide applicability. Many drying factors of drum dryer can be adjusted. For example, the concentration of the feed, the thickness of the coating film, the temperature of the heating medium, and the rotation speed of the drum can change the drying efficiency of the drum dryer, and many factors are not related to each other. This brings great convenience to the drum drying operation, making it suitable for the drying of various materials and different output requirements.
The drying time is short. The drying cycle of materials is generally only 10-300 seconds, which is suitable for heat-sensitive materials. If the drum dryer is set in a vacuum, it can operate under reduced pressure.
High drying rate. Because the material film coated on the cylinder wall is very thin, generally 0.3-1.5mm, and the direction of heat and mass transfer is consistent, the material film surface can maintain 20-70kg. H ₂ O/m ². H evaporation strength.
Applicable materials
It is suitable for drying liquid or viscous materials in chemical, dye, pharmaceutical, food, metallurgy and other industries.
Install
This machine is installed according to the general layout, the ground should be flat, the steam pipe inlet should be equipped with a pressure gauge and a safety valve, and each steam inlet flange should be firmly connected.
Maintain
Regularly check the rotation flexibility of rotating parts for jamming. Parts such as sprockets should be greased regularly, and the error of measuring devices such as pressure gauges should be corrected regularly. Replace the V-belt transmission parts in time if they are seriously worn.

Shakedown test
After the installation of this machine, it is necessary to carry out a test run.
Inch the main motor to observe the correct rotation of the main cylinder.
Observe whether the main drum and transmission parts rotate flexibly, whether the steam inlet and outlet are connected, and whether the pressure gauge is within the working pressure range.
Start the motor, and the main drum runs smoothly. When the temperature rises, add materials, and then adjust the motor speed and the uniformity of materials on the drum film to control the final water content of materials.
Start the auger motor, output the dried finished materials, and adjust the rotation speed of the auger motor according to the dried finished products.
